Dharani (Nani), Suri (Dixit Shetty) and Vennela (Keerthy Suresh) are friends since childhood. They live in Veerlapalli village where drinking is not just an addiction; It’s tradition – everyone comes to Silk Bar, even though not everyone is allowed to step inside. Everyone is seen covered with a layer of soot all the time. Dharani and Suri earn money by stealing coal from moving trains. Local politics between Rajanna (Saikumar), Shivanna (Samuthirakani) and the latter’s son Chinna Nambi (Shine Tom Chacko) threaten to disrupt their lives.

Starring Keith Suresh, Dussehra is directed by debutant Shrikant Odhela and is considered to be one of the most important films of Nani’s career. The film is reportedly made on a whopping budget of Rs 65 crore and is expected to take a huge opening at the box-office.
